Welcome to My Favorite Teapot!

My name is Marsha and I love teapots and everything connected with them. I also enjoy making and drinking tea, and having tea parties with my granddaughters. My collection includes over 30 teapots, along with assorted cups, coffee sets, mugs, and other cool things.

I started the site for different reasons. First of all, I like to find out about these objects that I think are beautiful. At a flea market, I recently bought a coffee set dated around 1950, and I could not find information about the pattern even though I was able to find out something about the manufacturer (which went out of business a long time ago). Another of my treasures is a brown teapot I bought for €2 at a church bazaar. I researched the mark on the bottom and found out that it was made by Gibson in England almost 100 years ago. It’s only worth about $40 now, but hey, percentage-wise that’s quite a bargain.

Another reason I started the site is to share recipes, traditions, and tips about making tea. I have friends in Milan, Italy who have their own tea room and it is really a nice place to go.

The third reason is, obviously, to earn a little money on the side. Some of the companies I plan to feature have affiliate programs, which means that if you buy something through my website, I get a small commission, at no extra cost to you. When I can, I’ll try to get some convenient discounts for you to make it worth your while.

I hope you’ll stick around to share a cup of tea. Get comfortable while I warm the pot.
